Grenade launchers trained at Kherson training grounds
At the training grounds of the Kherson region, measures are being taken to train grenade launcher units subordinate to the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Public Relations Department of the Command of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this, Rubryka reports.
The calculation of anti-tank and hand-held anti-tank grenade launchers performing combat missions on the administrative border with the temporarily occupied territory of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, in practice, are practicing various firing exercises.
According to the commander of the joint forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev, during field exercises, servicemen learn to conduct a reconnaissance of targets, select, equip and mask firing positions, and also determine the initial data for shooting in different weather conditions.
"The next stage in the tactical training of military personnel is determined by the movement on the ground, the choice and quick change of firing positions, as well as the development of the tactics of concentrated fire of several grenade launchers on one target in order not to give the enemy any chance to avoid destruction," the commander emphasized.
