Budget receives over UAH 5B in privatization proceeds in 2021
Рrivatization revenues of the state budget amounted to UAH 5.07 billion (nearly $185,8 million).
That's according to the State Property Fund's press service.
"As of today, UAH 5.07 billion has already been transferred to the state budget off of the sale of state-owned assets, as per the SPF's operational data," the statement reads.
Head of the State Property Fund, Dmytro Sennychenko says this is a historical high in terms of privatization proceeds, which is the result of the implementation of transparency and openness principles in privatization processes.
"The State Property Fund has done a high-quality job, thanks to which in 2021 the budget received more than UAH 5 billion. This means that as our team worked throughout 2020 and 2021, more was received off privatization than in the previous seven years combined," Sennychenko added.
