Zelenskyy, Blinken discuss steps to counter Russia
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine had a phone call with U.S. Secretary of State Antony Blinken.
That's according to a tweet Zelenskyy posted Wednesday.
"I had a phone conversation with SecBlinken. We agreed to continue consultations to reconcile positions and coordinate diplomatic efforts to achieve peace. I was assured of full U.S. support for Ukraine in countering Russian aggression," the head of state wrote.
Оn December 9, President Zelenskyy and U.S. President Joe Biden had a 90-minute call.
The key issue of the talks was the security situation around Ukraine.
