A charity fair in Khmelnytskyi collected aid for homeless animals

In Khmelnytskyi, during a charity fair, volunteers raised money for food and medicine for homeless cats and dogs.

Suspilne reported this.

"9 thousand hryvnias had been collected by volunteers of the Khmelnytskyi public organization Save A Life for 5 days of the charity fair. Homeless dogs and cats need money for food, treatment, and medication. Besides the money, they collected cereals and dry fodder, which will be enough for a month," the statement reads.

According to volunteer Daria Popovych, part of the funds raised will be used to repay the debt in hospitals that provide care for sick animals.

The Save A Life NGO helps animals that have been thrown out into the street and those that have already been born there. Up to 100 dogs in the shelter are under their care. In addition, many cats, puppies, and sick animals are now on hold and they will continue to look for a home.
