Zelenskyy congratulates Ukrainians on Christmas

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has congratulated Ukrainians on Christmas and wished them to preserve the incredible sense of unity that reigns in their hearts today.

А video greeting has been published on the official website of the head of state.

Zelensky noted that Christmas is a symbol of the best human virtues – love, kindness and mercy.

"These days we forget about all the bad things, we forgive each other's insults, we believe in tomorrow, which is full of concord, harmony and peace. Let's be sincere in our aspirations not only once a year, and then it will definitely happen. Let's preserve every day this incredible sense of unity that reigns in our families, in our hearts, which means taking care of ourselves, taking care of our loved ones, taking care of Ukraine," Zelensky said.

He wished everyone good health, prosperity and a Merry Christmas.

The Catholic Church, Protestant churches, and most local Orthodox churches celebrate Christmas on December 25.
