Ukrainians name our country’s main achievements in 2021. Usyk’s victory was mentioned most often

Among the main victories of Ukraine in 2021, Ukrainians most often mention the victory of boxer Oleksandr Usyk, the success of the Paralympians in Tokyo, and the Big Construction program.

This is evidenced by a poll conducted by the "Rating" sociological group that conducted it on December 16-18.

• Thus, the victory of Oleksandr Usyk over the British Anthony Joshua was mentioned by 35% of Ukrainians.
• The success of our Paralympic team, which won 24 gold medals, was named by 32% of Ukrainians.
• Another 31% of our citizens added the Big Construction infrastructure program to this list.

About 20% of Ukrainians called the Diia application expanding the services, mass vaccination against coronavirus, and the national football team getting to the quarterfinals of Euro 2020.

Another 15% mentioned the performance of Ukrainian athletes at the Summer Olympics and the law on service in the Ukrainian language. And 13-14% consider the adoption of the law "On Oligarchs" and sanctions against Viktor Medvedchuk to be the main achievements.

Less than 10% of our country's residents mentioned the launch of the land market, the open skies agreement with the EU, the Crimean Platform, and Ukraine's success at Eurovision. And 2% believe that there have been no achievements this year.

The survey was conducted among the adult population of Ukraine in all regions except the occupied territories. The sample is representative of age, sex, and type of settlement. A total of 2,500 respondents were interviewed.

Survey method: telephone interviews using a computer. The error does not exceed 2%.
