Enclosed court reconstruction project in Ternopil region won an international competition
The project of complete reconstruction of the Chortkiv Public Library's enclosed court won the DREAMactions 4.0 grant, organized by CANactions School and Western NIS Enterprise Fund, and Astarta-Kyiv.
This was reported by the press service of the Chortkiv City Council.
It is expected that it will be a place for creative meetings, movie nights, and other, no less interesting, educational and artistic events.
"In the court, you can comfortably sit down with your favorite book to read or spend an interesting literary evening. We plan to equip the yard with garden furniture, add more greenery, install a bicycle parking lot and equip a place for an open workshop, fair, exhibitions. It will be a so-called living location with a constant calendar of events for people of different interests and ages," said Iryna Brunda, head of the Chortkiv Public Library.
By the way, the cost of the project is 100 thousand hryvnias, which will be allocated by the competition organizers.
In addition, under the terms of the grant, there must be financial support of 30% of the amount.
Therefore, UAH 15,000 will be allocated by the construction volunteer project "Building Ukraine Together" (BUR) and UAH 15,000 will be co-financed from the budget of the Chortkiv community.
