Zelenskyy reported this on Twitter.
"I'm glad to meet German Chancellor Olaf Scholz. I look forward to deepening cooperation between Ukraine and Germany in the fields of energy, security, and defense. I also look forward to seeing the support of Ukraine's Euro-Atlantic course," he wrote.
Zelenskyy added that he had invited the new German chancellor to visit Ukraine.
The Ukrainian president also held talks with Emmanuel Macron.
"I discussed with Emmanuel Macron the issues of cooperation between Ukraine and France. I hope that the French presidency of the EU Council will pay special attention to Ukraine's security and countering Russia's hybrid aggression in Europe," Zelenskyy said.
