Zelenskyy, PM of Italy discuss security situation around Ukraine
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy discussed further steps towards the peaceful settlement of the situation in eastern Ukraine with Prime Minister of Italy Mario Draghi.
"Had a fruitful conversation with Mario Draghi. We exchanged views on the security situation around Ukraine. Further steps on its de-escalation and peaceful settlement in Donbas were discussed. Grateful for the firm support of Italy for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine," the President posted on Twitter.
As reported, in an interview with 1+1 TV channel on December 10, Zelenskyy expressed hope that not only the Minsk process but also a platform with the participation of the United States of America will be among the options for negotiations with Russia on settlement of the conflict in the east.
