Uzhhorod plans to purchase 10 municipal electric buses
Uzhhorod will purchase 10 municipal electric buses and charging stations for them.
The Uzhhorod City Council announced this on Facebook, Rubryka reports.
"The Purchase of Municipal Electric Buses for Uzhgorod City Territorial Community program for 2021-2022 was approved today by members of the executive committee of Uzhhorod City Council. According to the program, the city will purchase 10 electric buses and charging stations for them," the statement said.
It is noted that the program will be implemented on the terms of co-financing from the Uzhhorod City Territorial Community's budget and the state budget, 40%, and 60%, respectively, of the total cost of the Program.
The Purchase of Municipal Electric Buses for Uzhgorod City Territorial Community project was selected and included in the Action Plan for targeted environmental (green) investment projects during the commitment of the parties to the Kyoto Protocol to the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change to reduce emissions or absorption of greenhouse gases, adaptation to the effects of climate change.
