Rivne announced a competition for best New Year's decoration of homes and offices
Residents of Rivne can receive cash prizes for festively decorated homes and offices before the New Year and Christmas.
This was reported in the press service of the city council, Ukrinform reports.
"We're holding a city competition Mood of the City: Christmas for the best design of festive windows, balconies, facades, courtyards. To participate, you will need to create a festive location by December 19 and send photos to the organizers of the competition. Among the conditions is an interesting design theme, with a certain content, form, holiday idea, original story. The jury will also take into account non-standard solutions, environmental friendliness of materials, the possibility of reusing decorations," the press service said.
It is expected that on December 25 on Independence Square near the central Christmas tree, the city will learn the names of the winners.
They will receive a special award from the mayor, valuable gifts from 10 to 15 thousand hryvnias, as well as promotion within the competition.
As reported, for several years in a row on the eve of the New Year, Rivne organizes a city competition for the best design of buildings, which is quite popular among Rivne residents of private houses in Rivne and the village of Kvasyliv, as well as institutions located in the community and condominiums.
Just a week or two before the New Year holidays, the city is transformed into a bright and colorful palette, giving it a festive mood to residents and guests.
