A shop selling souvenirs made by children with disabilities opened in Lviv region

A social workshop store has been opened in Drohobych, where they'll sell products and souvenirs made by children with disabilities.

The press service of the Drohobych City Council reported this.

"You know our children are talented; they make postcards, beadwork, Christmas decorations, candles, etc. All this can now be purchased in one place, our social store. On the other side of the room we have an inclusive training kitchen, which will allow teaching our pupils the basic nuances of cooking, creating sweet masterpieces, and much more," said the initiator of the project, head of the Nadia Voluntary Society for Protection of Children with Disabilities, Irina Dziurakh.

The newly opened premises will combine several functions: a space for masterclasses, a shop selling products for children with disabilities and souvenirs, as well as an inclusive training kitchen.

During the opening of the newly built social shop, the workshop conducted a tour for the government and the community, including parents whose children have disabilities, and consecrated the premises.

Until the start of the Christmas and New Year holidays, numerous masterclasses will be held here and a wide variety of souvenirs will be sold.
