Industrial production in Ukraine has resumed growth

Industrial production in Ukraine resumed growth after September, growing by 2.2% year on year.
This was reported by the State Statistics Service.
In October, the seasonally adjusted index of industrial production was 101.9% compared to September, i.e. production increased by 1.9%.
For 10 months of 2021, industrial production grew by 1.4% year on year.
In particular, it happened due to the extractive industry and quarrying (+ 1.1%), as well as the processing industry (+ 1.5%). Electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply increased by 1.7% in 10 months.
In September, the mining industry grew by 0.6% year on year, while coal production fell by 4.6%. The refining industry grew by 0.4%: on the one hand, the production of textiles (9.2%) and chemicals (13.6%) fell significantly, and on the other hand, the production of coke and refined products added 15.6%.
Electricity, gas, steam, and air conditioning supply decreased by 1.7%.
