MP Dmytruk expelled from Servant of the People faction
First Deputy Speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oleksandr Korniyenko has announced the expulsion of MP Artem Dmytruk from the parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party.
The announcement was made at a parliament meeting on Tuesday, November 16, according to an Ukrinform correspondent.
"According to Part 3 of Article 60 of the Rules of Procedure of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, I would like to announce the decision by the parliamentary faction of the Servant of the People party to expel MP Artem Hennadiyovych Dmytruk from the Servant of the People faction," Korniyenko said.
Servant of the People MPs at a party meeting on November 15 decided to initiate Dmytruk's expulsion from the faction.
Dmytruk is an MP from the Servant of the People faction, elected in the 2019 early parliamentary elections at constituency No. 133 in Odesa region. He is a member of the Verkhovna Rada committee on law enforcement. He voted against the dismissal of Dmytro Razumkov from the post of chairman of the Verkhovna Rada and against the appointment of Ruslan Stefanchuk to this position.
