Foreign Ministry to hold 8 talks a day in Brussels: what is known

Today the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine will hold eight talks in Brussels.

These include meetings with NATO leaders, EU foreign ministers, associate trio ministers, and three Normandy ministers, as well as meetings of EU and Eastern Partnership foreign ministers and talks with journalists.

"After the successful visit of the Ukrainian delegation to Washington last week, we continue to work on strengthening Ukraine's security with our European partners.

The security situation requires so many negotiations. It is this high level of diplomatic activity that has helped reduce tensions in the spring of 2021.

Security of the country and citizens, counteraction to the Russian aggression, strengthening of relations with strategic partners are priority tasks of the Strategy of Ukraine's foreign policy.

We will also speak openly about the further development of the Eastern Partnership on the eve of the summit on December 15. The full composition of ministers of the Associated Trio will gather in Brussels. We will insist on a differentiated EU approach to the European integration of our neighbors. The one who does more and strives for more must receive more.

Well, how not visit NATO. Russia continues to destabilize the security situation along our border, in the wider Black Sea region, and in the temporarily occupied territories of Donbas and Crimea. Violations of the ceasefire in Donbas, the transfer of troops, gas blackmail, propaganda, the artificially created migration crisis in Belarus are elements of a new stage of Russia's hybrid aggression against Europe. We work with partners to minimize risks and counter threats from the Russian Federation.

At the end of the day, I will hold separate talks with the Foreign Ministers of Germany and France to intensify work in the Normandy format. Russia is slowing down the negotiation process, avoiding meetings. But we insist on the resumption of Normandy's work without preconditions," the minister said.
