A Telegram chatbot launched to expose drug trafficking in Ukraine

A chatbot that will expose the sale of drugs across the country is launched in Telegram.

The Patrol Police of Ukraine reports about it on Telegram.

DrugHunters is an official chatbot of the patrol police in Telegram messenger.

"With its help, you can anonymously and, in a few clicks, inform the patrol about the detection of both drugs and the planters themselves. All citizens in the cities where the patrol police work can use the chatbot," the statement said.

To leave a request for a place for a plant or planter, just open the program on your telegram and start a dialogue.

After the start of the conversation, you need to indicate the settlement, the address at which you saw a potential planter, and a description of the place where, in the applicant's opinion, there may be a plant (pipes, flower bed, bench, etc.).

And for law enforcement officers to find the plant faster, you can send geolocation and add photos/videos.

Upon receipt of a report of a find or a probable plant, patrol officers will go to the scene and check the information.

The police informed that for offenses related to illicit trafficking in narcotic drugs and psychotropic substances, there was a responsibility, which, depending on the volume of sales, can be both administrative and criminal.
