A media studio with social entrepreneurship elements set up at school in Vinnytsia

A media studio with elements of social entrepreneurship has been set up at Vinnytsia School №18, where students will be able to learn the basics of journalism and blogging.
The Vinnytsia City Council reported this.
"Thanks to the modern studio, students of our school will be able to shoot videos, write scripts for stories, edit them with the help of special programs. They will also learn to express their opinions correctly, develop public speaking skills and leadership skills," said Kateryna Podzharenko, the principal of the 18th school.
The project won the "School Project Budget – 2021" competition. Its purpose is to organize an educational and information space for the work of the school press center and to involve students in creating content. The newly created studio will have elements of a social enterprise. Here students will be able to try themselves in the roles of journalist, blogger, director, camera operator, business leader, manager, editor, text editor. The authors of the project are convinced that this will help students decide on their future profession.
It is noted that all work on the project has been completed. Almost UAH 300,000 was allocated for it from the community budget.
