Ukrainian-language audio guide launched in Prague Castle

A Ukrainian-language audio guide has been launched in Prague Castle, which is the largest castle complex in the world and is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The audio guide was launched as part of the initiative of First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska, Ukrinform reports, referring to the presidential press service.

"Due to audio guides, we open new cultural sites around the world for Ukrainians, and give those who want to learn our language the opportunity to hear it. We continue to expand our borders!" Olena Zelenska stressed.

According to the President's Office, Prague Castle was founded around the year 880 by Prince Bořivoj of the Premyslid Dynasty. Since then, it has served as the residence of the Czech rulers, and since 1918 – the country's presidents.

The Ukrainian embassy in the Czech Republic worked on the translation of texts into Ukrainian. The 32nd audio guide was voiced by Ukrainian actor Oleksandr Bystrushkin, who lives in the Czech Republic.

Ukrainian-language audio guides, an initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, designed to promote and expand the use of the Ukrainian language abroad. Such audio guides have been already launched in Versailles, the Colosseum, the Tower of London and even at Mount Vernon, the estate of the first U.S. President George Washington.
