A Ukrainian-language audio guide launched in world's largest fortress complex

A Ukrainian-language audio guide has started working in Prague Castle, the largest fortress complex in the world. The site is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The Office of the President announced this, Rubryka reports.

The castle was founded around 880 by the Czech prince Borživoj of the Přemyslid dynasty. Since then, it has served as the residence of Czech rulers, and since 1918, the country's presidents. Samples of most architectural styles of the last millennium can be found in the territory of the Castle, so it is also called a "textbook" on world architecture and art history.

"Thanks to audio guides, we're opening new cultural points to Ukrainians around the world and giving those who want to learn our language the opportunity to hear it. We continue to expand our borders!" Olena Zelenska emphasized.

The Embassy of Ukraine in the Czech Republic worked on the translation of the texts into Ukrainian. The voice of the 32nd audio guide was Ukrainian actor Oleksandr Bystrushkin, who lives in the Czech Republic.

You can listen to the audio guide through the mobile application "Prague Castle. Audio Guide" for iOS and Android.

To recap, Ukrainian-language audio guides are an initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine, designed to promote and expand the use of the Ukrainian language abroad. Such audio guides are already working in Versailles, the Colosseum, the Tower of London, and even in the estate of the first President of the United States George Washington, Mount Vernon.
