Ukraine and Kazakhstan agreed to intensify military cooperation

Ukraine and Kazakhstan have agreed to intensify military cooperation, in particular in the areas of military education, aircraft repair, and ammunition disposal.

According to the Embassy of Ukraine in Kazakhstan, this was discussed during the meeting of the Ambassador of Ukraine to the Republic of Kazakhstan Petro Vrublevskyi with the Deputy Minister of Defense of Kazakhstan, Major General Mukhamedjan Talasov.

"Ukraine is ready to share the experience in military education with Kazakhstan in the areas of training, advanced training, course training, exchange of experience of teaching staff," the embassy said.

In addition, during the meeting, they discussed the possibility of establishing a service center for the repair of aircraft model range "AN" in Kazakhstan, as well as the possibility of cooperation in ammunition disposal.

Ukrainian diplomats informed that the issue of holding the VIII meeting of the Joint Ukrainian-Kazakhstani Intergovernmental Commission on Military-Technical Cooperation in Kyiv next year was being considered.
