Dnipro received a medical humanitarian cargo - Naiev
Humanitarian medical aid was transferred to the Military Medical Clinical Center of the Eastern Region. The event took place within the international strategic, humanitarian initiative "Help East."
The public relations department of the Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine announced this, Rubryka reports.
According to the founder of the initiative, Commander of the Joint Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev, the humanitarian cargo is intended for re-equipment and renovation of operating rooms, as well as departments where inpatient care is provided to patients.
"We support military medical facilities where wounded and injured servicemen undergo treatment, who, after recovery and rehabilitation, stand up again for the Motherland and continue to perform their duties in good faith," said Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev.
This time the cargo consists of electric X-ray operating tables and transfer wheelchairs, specialized shadeless lamps for surgical operating equipment, modern multifunctional beds with mattresses, medical furniture, and clothing.
"Domestic and international charities, local governments, volunteers, representatives of large and small businesses have joined our activities. Together we will always do everything possible to ensure that the receipt of targeted humanitarian medical care doesn't stop because the future of many defenders of Ukraine who received wounds as a result of hostilities or faced with an insidious disease," said Lieutenant-General Serhii Naiev.
The commander added that the humanitarian initiative "Help East" will continue to develop and continue its activities to provide timely support to all those who need it.
To recap, the permanent partners of the project are the France-Ukraine Medical and Charitable Care Association, headed by Vice President Diana Dolce, as well as the Association of International Road Carriers of Ukraine, chaired by Leonid Kostiuchenko. In 2021, the Ukrainian company Sanagro Ukraine, director Oleksandr Skrypka, joined the project. The project coordinator is Borys Kutovyi, an officer of the Joint Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
