The biggest deal in the Ukrainian IT market: the Americans bought Crello
The American company VistaPrint has bought out the Ukrainian company that develops photo stock Depositphotos and the online editor Crello.
This is stated in an official press release, the EP reports.
The deal amounted to $85 million.
According to ain.ua, this is the largest deal on the Ukrainian IT market in the last few years.
VistaPrint buys 100% of the company's stock, including all projects: Depositphotos, Crello, Lightfield, Bird In Flight and WAS.
The company's founder, Dmytro Serhieiev, completely leaves the management and leaves the company.
Vadym Nekhai, a senior executive, will remain with the company and join Vista as vice president of VistaCreate (Crello) and Depositphotos and will continue to lead teams under Vista's international business president Florian Baumgartner.
VistaPrint is a large US design and marketing company, part of Cimpress, which trades on the Nasdaq. Its departments deal with content for Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and other social networks, develop logos, websites, and other branded materials, print promotional materials.
