Kherson region plans to build a wind farm with a capacity of 73 MW
In the Kherson region, a 73 MW wind farm is planned to be built on the territory of the Dariivka Territorial Community, and the company has already started work on the project.
The website of the Kherson Regional State Administration reported this.
"In the Kherson region, the international company plans to build a wind farm with a capacity of 73 MW… The future wind farm will be located in the Dariivka territorial community," the statement said.
The regional state administration discussed the prospects of using the wind potential of the Kherson region with the participation of representatives of the international company for energy infrastructure development CWP Global and the regional office of ICC Ukraine, agreed on further steps of joint investor and local government, according to the regional state administration.
According to Maia Turkovych, Vice President of CWP Global, the Kherson region has significant prospects for the development of alternative energy, including wind energy.
That is why the company has already started work on the implementation of a project to build a wind farm.
The international company CWP Global has developed, financed, and implemented projects for renewable energy facilities with a total capacity of 1525 MW for 3 billion euros.
It is currently developing projects with a total capacity of 1,400 MW in Europe through CWP Europe and 2,000 MW in Australia through CWP Renewables. The company operates in Serbia, Bulgaria, Monaco, Romania, and Australia (Sydney).
