A man in Zakarpattia builds a house out of used glass bottles
Volodymyr Hrytsan from Zakarpattia, from the village of Krasna, Tiachiv district, built a house from used glass bottles, which he found in dumps.
This is stated in the story of local media.
"Volodymyr Hrytsan from the village of Krasna in the Tiachiv region built a two-story house from used glass bottles. He had been building the house for two years. Inside the house, there is formwork, retaining wall, fittings, cement walls, and champagne and vodka bottles. Construction material was taken from landfills and restaurants," the statement reads.
The owner of the house says that glass is an excellent construction material. It transmits natural light well and, on the contrary, doesn't transmit moisture.
Volodymyr's house is designed for 8 people. On the ground floor, there is a sauna, toilet, shower, kitchen, and hall. On the second floor, there are 4 bedrooms.
Currently, the owner's house is rented by tourists who come to Krasna to rest in the estates of green tourism.
