A park with the symbolic name "Shchaslyvyi" appeared in Kyiv region
A new park "Shchaslyvyi" ("Happy") was opened in Hostomel, Kyiv region.
The village council announced this on Facebook, Rubryka reports.
According to the community, the park was created with love and soul for the native villagers.
The name of the park didn't appear just like that, because the story has a happy ending. The struggle for this territory lasted for four years.
The Hostomel community managed to save seven hectares of pine forest from the developer to build a park on the territory.
Mountains of garbage were taken out. Much effort has been made to create the main natural pride of the community.
Today, Shchaslyvyi Park resembles a pine pearl with walking paths, recreation areas, and skateboards.
Other innovations for recreation and leisure, sports, and cultural leisure will gradually appear. And there will be a summer amphitheater.
Today the new park is enriched with new vegetation. Pines were added to young spruces and other ornamental plants.
Caring citizens and employees of the Hostomel village council have repeatedly gathered for joint work.
