Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council Oleksii Danilov presented the information and analytical system, "SOTA," designed to forecast and manage the situation with the spread of COVID-19 in Ukraine and the world.

He said this in an interview with reporters on October 5, quoted by Interfax-Ukraine.

"The system allows you to learn, understand, predict and make certain management decisions related to COVID-19. It allows you to clearly understand what is happening in terms of each local community, the number of beds, the number of patients or those nearest to get to the hospital," he said.

According to Danilov, the system also reflects the full situation with vaccination by territorial units, by age and sex of vaccinated, by types and time of receiving vaccines.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council noted that the SOTA system was used by the country's top leadership to make management decisions, but is also open to the public.

"All data in the system is verified. The information is updated online every day," he added.

The Secretary of the National Security and Defense Council also noted that SOTA contained part of the confidential information, but it concerns only the military component.

In addition, the system monitors the development of the situation with COVID-19 not only in Ukraine but also in all countries.
