Turkey hopes to create new cultural projects with Ukraine
Turkey hopes to develop cooperation with Ukraine, in particular in the field of culture.
The Minister of Culture and Tourism of Turkey Mehmet Nuri Ersoy stated this at the V International Forum "Creative Ukraine," organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy of Ukraine, Ukrinform reports.
"Ukraine is very important for Turkey. Our long-standing friendship with Ukraine has improved through cooperation in various fields. We believe that our cooperation will develop. We will update this cooperation as soon as possible… After this forum, I'm confident that we'll continue to develop, do the next steps are to create new projects," the minister said.
He also stressed the need for the free exchange of cultural elements with copyright, and government officials played an important role in this.
"This is copyright protection in the cyberworld, so that content can be shared, but so that it's legal, with copyright. So that you can easily exchange elements of culture, copy and use ideas," said the Turkish official.

The 5th International Forum "Creative Ukraine," organized by the Ministry of Culture and Information Policy, started on September 23.
The topic of the forum is "Creative industries: re-equipment," search for new tools and change of usual settings for the sake of balanced development.
