Ukraine reports 7,866 new COVID-19 cases
Ukraine has recorded 7,866 new COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on Facebook.
"Some 7,866 new confirmed cases of coronavirus disease COVID-19 (including 667 cases among children and 175 cases among healthcare workers) were recorded in Ukraine on September 22, 2021," the report reads.
According to the report, 123 coronavirus-related deaths, 2,070 hospitalizations, and 2,305 recoveries were registered in Ukraine on September 22.
As many as 2,370,973 people in Ukraine have contracted coronavirus, 2,237,973 have recovered, and 55,284 have died since the pandemic began. A total of 12,593,275 PCR tests have been performed so far.
The largest number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the past 24 hours was recorded in Kharkiv region (839), Lviv region (685), Donetsk region (520), Kyiv (467), and Dnipropetrovsk region (456).
Some 6,754 new COVID-19 cases were recorded in Ukraine on September 22.
