Zelenskyy: NATO will be weaker without Ukraine

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy believes that without Ukraine, NATO's military alliance will be weaker than with its participation. According to him, now the choice is on the alliance.

RBC-Ukraine reports, referring to Zelenskyy's statement to journalists in New York.

According to him, not everything is so calm in NATO itself, as shown by the situation in defense contracts with the European Union.

"It seems to me that Ukraine isn't just at no standstill today. I believe Ukraine can finally say that without a state like Ukraine, the alliance will be weaker. And it will be the choice of the alliance: do they want to have a strong alliance, to protect countries, especially small ones, which, when joining the North Atlantic Alliance, strongly believed in such protection," Zelenskyy said.

To recap, Zelenskyy met with NATO Secretary-General Jens Stoltenberg.
