During his participation in UN General Assembly, Zelenskyy will meet with UN and NATO Secretaries-General

During his visit to the United States of America to participate in the UN General Assembly, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with the UN and NATO Secretaries-General.

Rubryka reports, referring to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba informed about it on the air of one of the Ukrainian TV channels.

"The president is going to New York with a simple goal: to consolidate even more world support for Ukraine. This concerns issues of countering Russian aggression, attracting investment to Ukraine, and combating the COVID-19 pandemic," the minister said.

Kuleba stressed that the UN General Assembly was the most authoritative international platform on which the world's attention was focused.

In addition, it is an opportunity to hold several important bilateral and multilateral meetings at UN Headquarters.

"The President of Ukraine will meet with the UN Secretary-General, the NATO Secretary-General, and the leaders of several important countries; will hold a separate meeting with foreign investors. This will be a very busy visit, which is scheduled literally in minutes," said the Foreign Minister.

Kuleba stressed that the theme of Crimea would be the veritable refrain through the President's participation in the UN General Assembly and negotiations at all levels.

"It's very fundamental. First, we've launched the Crimean Platform very successfully. Second, Crimea is the number one issue for our state and diplomacy. There will be a difficult conversation with the UN Secretary-General on this topic because we want to see greater UN involvement in Crimea issues," he said.

The Minister shared the expectation of positive results for Ukraine following the visit and talks of the first officials.

According to him, "the President will agree with his counterparts on specific issues in the areas of security, politics, and economics."
