Ukrposhta installs the first pilot automated parcel terminals: video

Ukrposhta has started installing automated parcel terminals in Kyiv branches as part of a pilot project.

Ihor Smilianskyi, the company's general director, told how to use them on Facebook.

According to him, from 2022, Ukrposhta plans to scale post terminals of various formats across the country with integration with a mobile application, and personal account.

During the pilot project, Ukrposhta will check whether customers like this format.

"The first automated parcel terminals appeared in England in the 1850s, and were called 'mailboxes.' During this time, much has changed. It's time for us to try a new format as well. Especially since it's easier than answering the question 'why don't you have them?' For the pilot project, we installed post terminals in some Kyiv branches to see if customers like this format. It's easy to use, as in the video, and all operations take only 10-11 seconds: receive an SMS, dial a code, receive a parcel, smile, and go on," he wrote.

How it will work?

Receiving a parcel will take only 10-11 seconds: you need to receive an SMS, dial the code and receive the parcel.

If the project is successful, they plan to install post automated parcel terminals in cities with a population of over 100,000.

They will work 24/7.

The head of the company assured that the pricing policy would remain the most democratic and accessible to all.
