In Poltava region, noise protection screens installed along H31 road: photo

Installation of noise protection screens in the village of Svichkareve, Bilyky united territorial community, Poltava district, has been completed on the H-31 Dnipro-Reshetylivka highway.
The Road Service in the Poltava region announced this, Rubryka reports.
Such screens are enclosing structures designed to protect certain areas from noise.
They are the most effective method of noise barrier from highways and railways, as well as industrial noise sources, without affecting the sound source itself.
According to the Road Service, screens are being installed in the villages of Troiany, Chumaky, and Brodshchyna.
By the end of the year, noise protection is planned to be installed in Berezhnivka, Kobeliaky, and Shamraivka.
According to the materials of noise protection, screens are divided into:
- reinforced concrete;
- metal;
- from organic glass;
- made of polyvinyl chloride (PVC);
- wooden;
- from green plantings;
- from monolithic polycarbonate;
- wood chips;
- brick;
- composite;
- soil (earth).
