In Khmelnytskyi, pensioners are taught English for free and how to use a smartphone
A project on free English language training and smartphone skills for pensioners living in remote districts of the city has started in Khmelnytskyi.

"Residents of the Khmelnytskyi district of Hrechany were offered to feel like students over the age of 60 in the city territorial center, on the basis of which a university of the third age operates. The tercentre decided to open clubs in remote districts of the city for the convenience of listeners, and the pilot project started in Hrechany," the statement reads.
According to English teacher Khrystyna Tadlia, many of her students have children living abroad. Therefore, students are motivated to understand the basics, such as how to cope in the store. At the same time, even those who started with the basics have success in learning a foreign language.
Students also have the opportunity to learn the skills of using a smartphone.
According to Lilia Horetska, an employee of the tercentre, of the 21 faculties operating on the basis of the University of the Third Age, the most popular are the study of smartphones, computers and foreign languages.
