Not a victim, but a savior: Kuleba explains what signals Ukraine is sending to the world

Thanks to its proactive foreign policy, Ukraine is sending clear signals to the world that our state is not a victim, but a savior.

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba stated this in a speech during an hour of questions to the government in parliament, Ukrinform reports.

The head of Ukrainian diplomacy noted that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy pursued a bold foreign policy, and Ukraine was an active player on the world stage, pragmatically promoting its interests, and remained committed to European and Euro-Atlantic integration.

"The Crimean platform and the visit of the Ukrainian head of state to the United States are two signals to the world that Ukraine is back in the game. We are not beggars, not victims, not poor relatives. Ukraine is not a victim, Ukraine is a savior," Kuleba said.

He stressed that our state created new alliances and actively formed a new architecture of global and regional security.

In this context, the Minister stressed that the Crimean Platform, the Lublin Triangle with Poland and Lithuania, the Associated Trio with Georgia and Moldova, and the Quadriga with Turkey were completely new tools for Ukraine to emphasize its leadership role and increase its authority on the world stage.

The Minister also stressed that the strategy of foreign policy reduced the risk of changing the state's course to zero.

"The strategy virtually eliminates the risk of a change in the state's course due to a change in political elites or political turbulence," he said.

He added that in previous years Ukraine was guided by the political situation.

According to Kuleba, the adopted Strategy is "a constitution of foreign policy that will help the state to move forward much more effectively and achieve its goals."
