President of Ukraine and First Lady arrive in Washington
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy and First Lady Olena Zelenska arrived in Washington.
This was announced on the page of the Office of the President on Facebook, Rubryka reports.
It is noted that the Zelensky family arrived at the invitation of US President Joe Biden.
The agenda of the visit includes a meeting of the leaders of the two countries in a face-to-face format and in an expanded composition of delegations. Zelenskyy will also hold a series of meetings with senior US officials.
Representatives of Ukraine and the United States are expected to sign several documents.
As reported by Rubryka, Zelenskyy will be in Washington on August 31 and September 1, after which he'll go to California. Zelenskyy and Biden will meet tomorrow, September 1.
