300 cases of Delta strain recorded in Ukraine

In Ukraine, 300 infection cases with the "Delta" strain have been recorded.
Deputy Minister of Health, Chief Sanitary Doctor Ihor Kuzin announced this, Ukrinform reports.
"Delta" is gradually displacing other strains circulating in the country. As of today (August 12 – ed.), we've already registered 300 cases of Delta infection, and this situation is happening in all regions of the country. We have no leaders or any outsiders. That is, it progressively and gradually covers every region of the country. Delta is now a strain diagnosed by PCR test systems that can identify the six major strains circulating in the world that are of concern," Kuzin said.
He noted that the growth, already gradually taking place in each region, was probably because of the circulation of the "Delta" strain and the gradual replacement. According to him, this replacement will not be simultaneous, but a process that will stretch over time.
