Ukrainian synchronized swim team wins bronze at Tokyo Olympics

The synchronised swimming team of Ukraine won a bronze medal at the Summer Olympic Games in Tokyo.

This was reported by the press service of the National Olympic Committee of Ukraine on Facebook.

"The Ukrainian team consisting of Anastasia Savchuk, Marta Fedina, Ksenia Sydorenko, Maryna and Vlada Oleksiev, Kateryna Reznik, Alina Shynkarenko and Yelyzaveta Yakhno won the historical right to climb the bronze stage of the Olympic pedestal", wrote the representatives of the NOC.

In the final, the girls scored 190.3018 points and were ahead of the Japanese team. The second place was taken by the team of China, the first – by the ROC.

Ukrainian women won the second Olympic medal in artistic swimming in the entire history of independent Ukraine. The duet of sportswomen Marta Fedina and Anastasia Savchuk took the first this year – the third place.

This is already the 11th bronze medal of Ukraine at this competition.
