2020 Olympics: wrestler Cherkasova made it to the semifinals

Ukrainian wrestler Alla Cherkasova (weight category up to 68 kg) made it to the semifinals of the Olympic Games in Tokyo.

Cherkasova started with a confident victory over Agnieszka Wieszczek from Poland (11:0), and pinned German Anna Carmen Schell on the mat in the quarterfinals, Ukrinform reports.

In the confrontation for a place in the final of the 2020 Games, Cherkasova will meet today with American Tamyra Mensah-Stock.
