Tourist maps with famous people created in Zhytomyr region
Within the "Zhytomyr Region in Personalities" project, tourist maps with images of famous figures have been developed for six cities in the region.
Vasyl Kravchuk, director of the Zhytomyr Regional Tourist Information Center, told Ukrinform about this.
"We developed tourist maps for the first six cities of the Zhytomyr region during the quarantine within the "Zhytomyr Region in Personalities" project. The front depicts a famous person associated with the city, and the reverse shows a map and QR codes that lead to the audio guide. Designer Anna Rohal took part in the development of the maps," Kravchuk said.
According to him, the tourist map of Zhytomyr depicts Serhii Koroliov, Lesya Ukrainka represents Novohrad-Volynskyi, Princess Olga represents Korosten; Berdychiv, by Honore de Balzac; Malyn, by Mykola Myklukho-Maklai, and Olevsk, by Taras Bulba-Borovets.
Postcards with maps are currently available in A5 format, and they are to be printed in A3, A4, A6 formats. In the future, the maps will be printed in English.
Tourist maps will be distributed in tourist information centers and museums of the region.
