In Georgia, Zelenskyi visits the line of contact between Georgia and its occupied territory, Abkhazia

After landing in Batumi, the Ukrainian delegation led by President Volodymyr Zelenskyi went to the line of contact between Georgia and its occupied territory, Abkhazia.

Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba announced this on Facebook, Rubryka reports.

"Right now, immediately after landing in Batumi, the Ukrainian delegation led by the president is going to the line of contact between Georgia and its occupied territory, Abkhazia. This is a sign of solidarity between Ukraine and Georgia in the fight against Russian external aggression," Kuleba wrote.

He also said that during the Batumi conference, which would be attended by the President, the Ukrainian party will talk about security in the Black Sea region and EU integration.

As reported by Rubryka, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi will pay a working visit to Georgia on July 19, during which he will take part in the Batumi International Conference.

In addition, the "Associated Trio" format of Ukraine, Georgia, and Moldova will be launched at the level of heads of state. The leaders of the three countries will sign the Declaration of the Associated Trio Summit and hold a joint meeting with European Council President Charles Michel.
