Over 73,000 people vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine on July 5

Over 73,000 COVID-19 vaccinations were performed in Ukraine on Monday, July 5, the Ukrainian Health Ministry has reported on its portal "Vaccination against COVID-19."

"Some 73,234 people have been vaccinated against COVID-19 in Ukraine over the past 24 hours. Of these, 25,552 people received the first dose, and 74,682 people were fully vaccinated (they received two doses). A total of 2,998,614 shots have been given since the beginning of the vaccination campaign. Some 2,100,540 people were vaccinated – 2,100,538 of them received the first dose, and 898,076 people were fully vaccinated (two of them received the first dose abroad)," the report reads.

According to the report, 48,871 more shots were administered on July 5 than on July 4. Vaccination was carried out by 481 mobile teams, 1,128 vaccination sites and seven vaccination centers.

The largest number of vaccinations on July 5 was registered in Kyiv – 14,861. For the entire period of the vaccination campaign, the largest number of shots was also given in Kyiv – 400,107.
