More than 2M people in Ukraine received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine

More than two million people in Ukraine have received at least one dose of COVID-19 vaccine, Ukrinform reports with reference to the Ministry of Health.
On July 1, 2021, 90,959 people in Ukraine were vaccinated. Of whom, 35,472 people received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine, 55,487 people received their second dose. It is noted that 572 mobile teams, 1,546 vaccination points and 22 vaccination centers operated across the country on that day.
As of July 1, 2021, 765,181 people signed up for the COVID-19 vaccination waiting list.
Since the beginning of the vaccination campaign in Ukraine, 2,001,132 people have been vaccinated, of whom 766,483 people received two doses (two of them received their first dose abroad).
The vaccination campaign in Ukraine started on February 24, 2021.
Ukraine recorded 696 new COVID-19 cases on July 1.
