For the first time in history, Ukraine's national team left the group stage of the playoffs of the European Football Championship. The results of matches in other groups ended positively for our team.

Thus, the matches in Group E became decisive for Ukraine's passage to the Euro 2020 playoffs.

There, the Swedish team defeated the Polish team with a score of 3:2. Yes, the Swedes took first place in the group, and the Poles had fourth.

And the Spanish team defeated the Slovaks (5:0). This allowed the Spaniards to take second place in the group, and Slovakia came in third.

According to Hromadske, four of the six best teams that took third place in their groups will be admitted to the playoffs.

All matches have already been played in five quartets. As a result, we bypassed the national teams of Finland and Slovakia; they also have 3 points, as well as the Ukrainian national team, but in terms of additional indicators, they're inferior to us.

The Ukrainian national team could guarantee a place yesterday, June 22, if Croatia and Scotland draw. However, the match ended with the victory of the Balkan team.

The 1/8 finals will be played on June 26-29.

The quarterfinals will be played on July 2-3.

The semifinals are scheduled for July 6 and 7 (both matches at 22:00 in London).

The final is July 11 (Sunday) at 22:00 in London.
