Crimean activists are again handed “warnings about inadmissibility of law violation”

The occupying authorities in Crimea are once again handing out so-called "warnings about the inadmissibility of breaking the law" to Crimean Tatar activists.

The Crimean human rights group informs about it, Rubryka reports.

"On the eve of the Crimean Tatar Flag Day, celebrated on June 26, activists on the occupied peninsula began to receive 'warnings,'" the statement says.

In particular, according to the Crimean Human Rights Group, "warnings about the inadmissibility of violating the law" were handed to Crimean Tatar activist Zair Smedliaiev.

In the document signed by the deputy chief of "police of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation of the Krasnogvardeysk area," it's reported that "the uncoordinated meeting" is planned in the territory of Crimea, therefore, the demonstration participants "are forbidden to hide their faces, carry weapons, violate public order, and carry out extremist activities."

The "warning" lists eight articles under which activists can be prosecuted: for violating the established order of organizing or holding rallies, meetings, holding them without notice, propaganda or public display of Nazi paraphernalia or symbols, illegal handling of weapons, public appeals to extremist activities and violation of the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation.

According to the Crimean Human Rights Group, activists in various parts of the occupied peninsula began to receive such "warnings" from the "prosecutor's office."

Crimean Tatar Flag Day is celebrated annually on June 26. The celebration date was the first day of the second Kurultai of the Crimean Tatar people, which took place on June 26-27, 1991 in Simferopol.
