US State Department informs Ukraine about the content of Biden-Putin talks
Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba had a telephone conversation with US Deputy Secretary of State Victoria Nuland, who briefed him on the content of the June 16 talks in Geneva.
The press center of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reports.
The American diplomat said that during the talks, US President Joseph Biden clearly and firmly stated to Putin his firm support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity.
Nuland stressed the US commitment to the principle of "No agreement on Ukraine without Ukraine" in talks with Russia.
The parties discussed preparations for President Zelenskyi's visit to the United States and noted the readiness to make it as meaningful as possible.
