The Servant of the People faction wants to pass the law on oligarchs by the end of session - Kornienko
The parliamentary faction "Servant of the People" would like to pass a draft law on oligarchs by the end of the session, in the first and second readings.
The chairperson of the "Servant of the People" party Oleksandr Kornienko stated this in an interview with RBC-Ukraine.
"We would like to do it by the end of the session. Next week (from June 14), we expect a meeting of the National Security Committee. And then in the plenary week from June 28 to July 2, we'll vote in the Verkhovna Rada," Kornienko said.
The party leader also said that they would also like to pass the draft law by the end of the session, but it may happen in the fall, given the number of amendments.
President Volodymyr Zelenskyi said that if anyone tried to agree with people's deputies on the law on oligarchs, he would put the issue to an all-Ukrainian referendum.
