FM Kuleba: President Zelensky to visit United States in late July

The meeting between the presidents of Ukraine and the United States of America in Washington will take place at the end of next month.

"Zelensky–Biden meeting will take place in late July, the date in late July is discussed. The format is a full-fledged state visit of the President of Ukraine to the United States … which will include not only a meeting with Biden but also a number of other events," Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine Dmytro Kuleba announced on the air of Ukraine 24 TV channel on June 11.

According to Kuleba, a large Ukrainian delegation will go to the United States, "because the agenda is very broad, there are many issues."

"We are preparing this visit very meticulously, we are already working on key elements of the program, but the main thing is that we are already working on key agreements. President Zelensky's approach is that we do not engage in political tourism, we do not make visits for no special reason, we make visits to achieve results. We are already actively working with the U.S. administration to make this visit as effective as possible for Ukraine," the minister said.

As reported, on June 7, Zelensky and Biden held telephone talks, during which the American leader invited his Ukrainian counterpart to visit the White House.
