UAF approves the official football status of "Glory to Ukraine!" and "Glory to the heroes!" slogans
The Executive Committee of the Ukrainian Association of Football unanimously (45 members "for") approved Ukraine's football symbols.
UAF President Andrii Pavelko wrote about this on Facebook, Rubryka reports.
He notes that from now on, together with the small UAF emblem in the form of a Trident with the "Ukraine" inscription, they can use a large emblem, a map of Ukraine with Trident in the center, at all official UAF events, events with the participation of UAF representatives in the international arena and national team matches.
The Executive Committee also approved the official football status of the slogans "Glory to Ukraine!" and "Glory to the Heroes!" which for many years have been a greeting to millions of our fans in our home country and around the world.
"At all matches of our national teams! The unique national football code, which these attributes contain, united all Ukrainians, from different regions of Ukraine and our compatriots from different countries and continents. We're obliged and honored to protect and fill it with a new force of unity! Congratulations to all football Ukraine on this historic decision!" Pavelko wrote.
