The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyi stated that the issue of the country's accession to NATO should be resolved immediately. Ukraine is now in danger and needs help.
The head of state stated this in an interview with Axios.
Zelenskyi is certain that his country will join NATO in time, but Ukrainians believe it less and less. According to him, this is a big problem.
"If we are welcomed into NATO, if they really want to see us in the ranks of their members, then there's no point in looking through binoculars, into some distant future. The issue must be resolved immediately. Now we're in danger, now our independence is at stake, and right now we need help," Zelenskyi said.
