Saudi Arabian carrier Flynas to enter Ukraine’s market
Flynas, a Saudi Arabian low-cost carrier, enters the Ukrainian market.
Previously, Ukraine did not have scheduled direct flights to and from Saudi Arabia, requiring a transfer via Istanbul, Doha, or Dubai.
"Each new flight route is, first of all, a new opportunity for business development, tourism, and Ukraine's integration into world markets. That is why increasing the scheduled routes of direct flights is among the Ministry's priorities. We want Ukraine to become a major international air hub, and such steps bring us closer to this goal," said Infrastructure Minister of Ukraine Oleksandr Kubrakov, the press service of the Ministry informs.
Flynas is a Saudi Arabian leading low-cost carrier with a fleet of 30 aircraft, operating more than 1200 weekly flights to 35 domestic and international destinations. For five consecutive years (from 2015 till 2019), Flynas received Middle East's Leading Low Cost Airline award from the World Travel Awards. Recently, the carrier concluded an agreement with Airbus to purchase 120 new A320NEO aircraft at a list value of US$ 8.6 billion.
